FAQs

Answers To Your Most Frequently Asked Questions

LCL cargo is quoted on the commodity you are shipping and the size of the piece or pieces that you are shipping. It is quoted based on how many cubic meters you will be shipping. The minimum for LCL cargo is 1 cubic meter.
We can arrange for the cargo to be picked up at your facility or "door." The charge is based on the commodity, the size of the piece or pieces, and the distance your "door" is to the terminal.
You'll need the length, width, and height of your shipment in inches. (L" x W" x H") / 1728 = Cubic Feet   |   Cubic Feet / 35.314 = Cubic Meters Example: 1 case 60"L x 58"W x 48"H = (60 x 58 x 48) / 1728 = 96.66 CFT → 96.66 / 35.314 = 2.74 CBM.
There are three main options: 1) pick up the empty container at the closest terminal and return it fully loaded, 2) Live Load — we pull the empty container to your facility and the driver waits while you load it, or 3) Drop and Pick — the trucker drops the container at your facility and returns for it two business days later. Note that a Drop and Pick is more expensive than a Live Load since it involves two moves instead of one, and a container can't be dropped without an accessible, fenced-in facility.
There are three primary options for shipping FCL cargo: 20 ft. container, 40 ft. container, and 40 ft. high cube container. Please contact us regarding specialized equipment such as 20' or 40' flat racks and 40' open top containers, or with any questions about weight limits, which vary by origin.
We routinely ship hazardous cargo and would not have a problem quoting.
